We are a small triple bottom line company located in Media PA. We live and work in this small very walkable, tree-lined, idyllic courthouse town we love. Media is the county seat of Delaware County in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Our employees are drawn from the five county area. We have strategic partners in many industries who add value to what we offer you. We have a formal business plan and are on a path to growing to a mid sized company.

A triple bottom line company is one which is committed to creating a business which is financially, socially, and ecologically sustainable. In our processes, we look to see if we can make them repeatable with positive financial, social, and ecological results. To accomplish our objective of engaging in socially sustainable activities, we teach classes, many of them for free and some for fee through a local community college. Our classes have to do with green living and sustainable living. You can click the “green schools” button to learn more. We are learning and growing in being a sustainable business and are willing to share our knowledge and to learn from you.

Hometown Green is an organization of management and employees whose mission is to provide friendly, professional, excellent, and affordable assessment, planning, education, services, and product installation, which result in five things.

The effective testing, sealing and insulating of home & building envelopes reducing energy use. |

The replacement of inefficient building elements resulting in reduced enrergy use. |

The installation of new building elements which rely on renewable energy and passive solar principles. |

The sustaining of life through reduction or elimination of the use of non-renewable energy, increased use of renewable energy, and the resulting decrease in greenhouse gasses and carbon footprint. |

The empowerment of clients and community through providing knowledge that makes a difference in the quality of daily living. |

| Guiding Principles
In all we do we seek to reduce the life cycle cost of energy and energy related items in homes and businesses. In doing this we conserve non-renewable resources, limit carbon footprint, and reduce greenhouse gasses.
Hometown Green running on 100% renewable energy!
As of January 2009 our offices will be consuming only 100% renewable energy through the Energy Cooperative.
